The Lost Painting by Jonathan Harr
The Lost Painting will be available in paperback in November.
The idea of this blog is to facilitate the love of reading by collecting news about new books, or sometimes good old books. It is also dedicated to stamping out the scourge of e-books, Kindles, Kobo's, i-Pads, and all other such abominations.

Hey, Thora. Two, not one, but two great new reviews in one day! Both fascinating sounding books, too. Go, Thora.
When I clicked on your link to The Lost Painting, it took me to the place to order the hardcover. I am on a fixed income and can't afford hardcovers. Could you direct me to where I can order a paperback of the Lost Painting? I sure appreciate this internet you. It's almost as good as having you back in the store. (Not really!)
Straight Georgia, the paper back isn't out yet but you can backorder it on Amazon.
I really look forward to reading this book.It will go on my Christmas list.
I cant remember the name of it but there was an interesting film made about Caravaggio a few years back. Tilda Swinton was in it.The man had quite a life!
This is a great blog Thora. Conratulations.
Pat D.
Thanks so much Pat D--I will look for the film. I am fascinated with Caravaggio as you can see by the entry on Sally Vickers new book "The Other Side of You"
